Enjoy Mexican cuisine with larger-than-life taste

You'll want to run for this meal

Thanks to Taco Del Mar's huge portions of food, I had to do something I hate doing: exercise.

Sure, the food was good, sure, the salsa was fresh, sure, the chips were warm, but I'm still mad at you, Taco Del Mar, for making me work out against my will.

I ordered the massive Mondo Burrito and every time I raised that bad boy to take a bite it felt like I was doing reps with a dumbbell.

It took dozens of reps to finish the $5.49 carne asada burrito.

They serve up a good amount of chips with the meal too, but at least they're a lot lighter than the burrito.

Taco Del Mar also offers taco plates for $3.99, quesadillas for $3.59, and combo platters with rice and beans with your choice of enchiladas or tacos for $6.79.

The Baja Favorites menu includes Super Meat Nachos for $6.49, chips and guacamole for $2.59 and a six-layer cheese nacho plate for $4.99.

The atmosphere is good too, with a beach-side restaurant feel and a cool view right smack in the middle of Palm Springs.

But I'm still mad at you, Taco Del Mar. Yes, lifting that burrito made my arms stronger, buffer, sexier, but I still didn't appreciate the forced workout.
