TACO DEL MAR'S MONDO BURRITOS ROLL THROUGHOUT COLORADO

Announcing New Regional Master Developers Gary Robison and Nick Kraft;
New Locations Coming Soon; April 12 Roadshow Set in Northglenn

SEATTLE, April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Gary Robison and Nick Kraft of El Grande Tacos are the new Colorado Master Developers for Taco Del Mar restaurants, a hot concept serving Baja-inspired "mondo burritos and rippin tacos" in a fast-casual, surf infused setting. Kraft and Robison, who hold exclusive rights to sell franchises and build restaurants throughout the state, will host an informational roadshow for prospective franchisees on April 12, 6:30 p.m. at the Ramada Plaza in Northglenn.

With plans to open 50 restaurants in the next 5 years (eventually to 100) across all of Colorado except for the Southwest corner, El Grande Tacos' mission to proliferate mission style burritos will start with the entire Front Range, from Pueblo to Fort Collins. Kraft and Robison are particularly optimistic about introducing the restaurants to the mountain communities along the I-70 corridor and Grand Junction.

Locations currently open include Fort Collins and Thornton. Three more restaurants are underway: a second Fort Collins location, to open in mid May, franchised by Brad Loyd and Paul Michaelson; a Boulder location to open in June, franchised by Cory and Shepard and Tommy Jeron of Boulder; and a downtown Denver Taco Del Mar to open in late summer.

Kraft and Robison are veterans in Colorado's scene of fast-casual development; they are a 23-unit franchisee of a major hamburger franchise.

"Taco Del Mar's cost of development relative to its profit potential makes it really attractive for people hoping to start a franchise," Robison said. "There's plenty of room for competition in the growing Mexi-fresh category here in Colorado, and Taco Del Mar has an exceptional menu with lots of choices for the customer."

Taco Del Mar serves mondo, 24-ounce beef, pork and chicken burritos with a choice of (four) tortillas, plus a selection of fish tacos, enchiladas, quesadillas, kids meals, salads, vegetarian and vegan selections. Store decor festively sets the "Inner Baja" mood with vibrant surf murals, mounted sailfish, thatched umbrellas, and long board tabletops.

To attend the April 12 Northglenn roadshow (6:30, Ramada Inn at Interstate 25 and 120th Ave.), reservations are recommended by contacting Robison of El Grande Tacos at 303-489-4675 or emailing grobison@tacodelmar.com.

A West Coast innovator of "mondo burritos and rippin tacos" since 1992, Taco Del Mar has brought its fast, fresh and filling food to more than 191 locations throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. Learn more at TacoDelMar.com.
